gath•er: to come together or bring together into one group, collection or place

Happy October friends!!

And can someone please tell me where the first 9 months of the year went??

I can’t believe that Halloween is in 3 weeks, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are sneaking up on us to!

If you are new here, welcome.

Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share things going on at Vintage Home, and also inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.

If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you!! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.

Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

I made these large cornhusk wreaths a few years ago, and after some of you watched my fall home tour video last week, I’ve had lots of questions about them.

You can see the post that has all of the details of how to make them, and a funny story about how I got the cornhusks here.

My husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary on Thursday!

We did an overnight stay in Ft. Worth and stayed in a really cute downtown loft Airbnb, had a drink at the cutest Speakeasy bar, followed by a fabulous dinner and ended at a jazz bar.

It has been so crazy busy lately, so it was good to get away for a while and take a deep breath.

We have been together for 41 years and married for 38, and I can hardly recognize those kids on the left.

and some other amazing things I found…..

this yummy pumpkin spice hot chocolate….

I just found this Christmas garland yesterday and love it! I have big plans for this, so I’m ordering more today while they are on sale, and before they’re gone!

This one is a fraction of the cost of some of the others I have looked at on-line.

And my all time favorite sweatshirt is back in stock this year. I discovered these several years ago, and fortunately they keep coming back each year and adding different colors.

They are so comfy and I love that the cuffs and bottom band aren’t fitted or tight. Very generously sized, and you can’t beat the price!

I hope you found some inspiration at our Saturday Morning Gather today!

blessings and have a wonderful weekend,
