on the blog

This week on the blog, I shared a winter tablescape that I created last year.

I have been out of town on a design job this week, and have been fortunate to stay with my daughter and spend time with my granddaughters.

My 3 year old granddaughter is currently obsessed with the Disney movie, Frozen.

Believe it or not, I had never seen it until this week.

As I was watching the movie it reminded me of this winter table. I have been changing a few things at home for a winter look after taking all of the Christmas decor down, so I thought it would be fun to incorporate some of the elements I used on this table.

For example, the sweaters on the backs of chairs.

And the snowflake ornaments I made out of air dry clay.

Also, the Fabulous Friday Link Party is going on until Monday at 12:00pm central time.

If you’re a blogger, be sure and link some of your favorite posts, and if you’re not a blogger pop over and see lots of inspiration all in one place.

Each week there are lots of home decor ideas, recipes, DIY’s and so much more.

in random news

As I mentioned, I have been working out of town this week on a decorating job for a client.

The job was in the Houston area where my daughter lives, so I was able to come a few days early and celebrate my granddaughters birthday with a “Pinkalicious” party.

It turned out so cute!!

  1. Hi
I’m new to your blog and I was wondering where you purchased your canisters.
    The tall clear ones.
    You kitchen is beautiful

    Much love,
    Rose

    1. Hello Rose, and welcome!! If you are referring to the two canisters out on my countertop, they can be found at Walmart, Target and Container Store I believe.

Here is a link to the ones at Walmart, which is where I got mine. https://rstyle.me/+xberUzjcT5TzdUKY7ihU5w

If there are different ones you are referring to, let me know.
