It has been SO hot in Texas, so I am anxiously awaiting the first cool nip in the air.
I can’t wait to throw on a sweater and sit on the front porch to sip my coffee.
In honor of the upcoming fall season, I’ve been doing some planning for my fall decor and even some things to add to my fall wardrobe.
I thought it would be fun to share some things I found with you.
If you are new here, welcome.
Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share what is going on at Vintage Home and also share inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.
If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.
Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week along with some fall inspiration.
on the blog….
Last week, I shared some peach inspired tablescape ideas that you might enjoy.
This table theme would be great for any summer get together, a baby or bridal shower, ladies brunch/lunch or even a ladies birthday party theme.
It’s still peach season in the south, and I’ve been making lots of yummy recipes with fresh peaches.
Last week, I made this amazing chilled peach soup, that you will love!
And if you love recipes for things made with fresh peaches, you might like….
in other random news…
I have been traveling SO much this summer!
It has been wonderful, but so hard to stay caught up at home.
I spent a week on the coast in Southern California working for on an interior decorating project for a client.
The weather was so great and it was a nice escape from the Texas heat.
Before August is over I will be in Key West, Florida and Fayetteville, Arkansas working on interior decorating jobs. Then my husband and I will be back in California for a wedding and a little vacay.
We will be in Paso Robles for a few days, and end our trip in Carmel.
Carmel is one of my favorite places! And the weather should be amazing!
and some other amazing things I found….
I saw this pear artwork in person yesterday and it looks better in person than in the picture.
I also saw these beautiful velvet pillows in person last week. They come in several colors.
The lamp is beautiful and also comes in black.
The sweater set on the top left is the same one I have in short sleeves that I have been loving.
It is so comfy and reasonably priced. And it has been a great travel outfit.
I can’t wait to get it in the long sleeve for fall.
It comes in several colors and runs true to size.
And you if you decorate for Halloween…..
The pumpkin canvas is fairly large and so cute!
And I saw the “trick or treat” neon sign and black jack o lanterns on display and they are so cute!
I hope you found some inspiration at our Saturday Morning Gather today!

So ready for fall. I have already put out some foliage in my crocks .
Yay, that’s great! The anticipation of fall is the best!
I’m soooooo looking forward to cooler days and sweaters too. The best part is the changing leaves so I hope we don’t miss that with our crazy weather. Skipping fall and moving straight into winter would suck. Although, I love the cold. Happy Sunday. Hope you have a wonderful week.
Thank you Cindy! And yay to cooler weather on the way!
Hi Michele- good luck on your design jobs. I don’t know how you have the stamina to travel so much. It’s inspiring! Thank you for all the fall links. Cooler weather is on the way!
Thanks so much Anna! And yay for cooler weather!!
