How To Make a Sparkling Rosemary Infused Cocktail

It’s menu day for my monthly dinner club group, and we have some great recipes for you! I have the drink this month, and I want to show you how to make a sparkling rosemary infused cocktail.

This recipe is basically a French 75, but with a bit of a twist, because I added a rosemary simple syrup.

We decided on an appetizer menu for our New Year’s Eve party. This will make it easier for guests to mingle and eat.

ingredients for my sparkling rosemary infused cocktail

bottle of prosecco silver metal cocktail shaker bottle of gin 2 lemons sprigs of rosemary and mason jar with rosemary infused simply syrup in it

Prosecco or Champagne

1 – 2 ounces Gin (depending on your personal taste)

1/2 ounce Lemon Juice

Ice

1/2 ounce Rosemary Simple Syrup (recipe below)

You will add your gin, lemon juice, rosemary infused simple syrup and some ice into a cocktail shaker.

Shake well and strain into a champagne flute.

Top off with prosecco or champagne.

Add a sprig of rosemary or lemon slice for garnish.

Add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water to a saucepan.

Bring to a boil and add 4-5 sprigs of rosemary.

Remove from the heat and let cool.

Pour the mixture through a strainer and discard rosemary sprigs.

You can store the simple syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a month.

This syrup is also great in iced or hot tea, lemonade and lots of other beverages.

Sparkling Rosemary Infused Cocktail

The perfect light and refreshing sparkling cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 1-2 ounces gin personal taste
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce rosemary simple syrup
  • prosecco or champagne
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 4-5 sprigs rosemary

Instructions

  • For the Simple Syrup
  • Add 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water to a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil, then add rosemary sprigs.
  • Take off of heat and let cool.

For the Cocktail

  • Add 1-2 ounces Gin (personal taste), 1/2 ounce lemon juice and 1/2 ounce simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice and shake.

  • Top off with prosecco or champagne.
