Saturday Morning Gather – #3

gath•er: to come together or bring together into one group, collection or place.

Good Morning friends and welcome to Saturday Morning Gather!

If you are new here, welcome! I’m so happy you are here!

And if you’ve been around a while, I want to thank you for following along and supporting my blog. It means more than I can say, and I am so grateful!

Gather round and grab your coffee or morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

on the blog

Tuesday on the blog, I shared how to make a cornhusk wreath. This was such a fun project that I did a couple of years ago and I wanted to share it with you again.

If you have access to cornstalks, this is a super easy project. I was lucky enough to track down the owner of a cornfield and got all the cornhusks I needed to make my wreath.

I am going on year 3 with mine, and they still look as good as they did when I made them.

I have large barn doors in my living room and I love the statement they make hanging on my doors throughout the fall!

You won’t want to miss next Thursday’s post because it is tablescape day for my dinner club friends and I. We will all be sharing our fall tablescapes with you.

I am always amazed at the inspiration and creativity of this group of ladies! It’s really fun to see the different twist that each person comes up with, so be sure and check back by on Thursday for lots of fall inspiration.

On Saturday, we will be sharing our menu and recipes for our fall theme.

If you missed last months tablescape, you can see my football themed table here.

807 Cottage

Well, we finally finished our Airbnb cottage!!

It took 3 months, but we are finally done, and I am thrilled with how it turned out. We hosted our first guests on Wednesday night and have new guests this weekend.

I am working on a video, photos and a blog post to share all the details with you. But, for now, I will give you a few more sneak peeks.

in random news

I had the best time one day this week taking our golf cart around our neighborhood looking for natural elements to use in my fall decor this year. Here are a few things I found that you will see in my fall home and tablescape photos this year.

I shared last week that my favorite sweatshirt from last year is back in stock.

I have bought several of them in different colors. These sweathshirts are super comfy and only $11.88!!

I love that the bottom band isn’t fitted and the cuffs are long, so you can wear them long, or roll them.

Also, bought this long duster cardigan for fall. I have linked some of these things and a few other fall fashion favorites at the bottom of the post if you’re interested in taking a look.

    1. I love it! I have been working on a dried hydrangea Christmas tree!

And thanks so much for your kind words!

  2. The duster is nice…are you tall? It appears longer in the photos you linked… I have a beautiful grey cashmere duster that a moth had some fun with! This seems like a nice replacement. Do you feel the sizing is accurate? Also, your new project looks pretty, looking forward to the post on that.

  3. That sweatshirt is adorable Michele! It looks so comfy 🙂 And I love that cornhusk wreath. I had thought of making one and you have inspired me!

  4. You are incredible, and adorable-I might add. I love your cornhusk wreath so much and your Saturday gatherings are so enjoyable. Thank you so much for the feature. Great idea. I will do that this week for all of us. Hugs to you.
