Can you believe Christmas is behind us and New Year’s is quickly approaching? That being said, I want to share 9 amazing ideas to decorate and celebrate the New Year.
I’ve teamed up with 5 other very talented bloggers to show you some New Year’s inspiration.
We have everything from tablescapes, centerpieces, cocktail recipes, New Year’s decor and activities to do for an evening at home.
new year’s tablescapes
A couple of weeks ago, on the blog, I shared my clock themed New Year’s tablescape.
I have been collecting vintage clocks and clock faces for a few years, and I decided to incorporate them into my New Year’s tablescape and centerpiece.
Rachel at The Pond’s Farmhouse has been an Instagram friend for a while and is also part of my virtual monthly dinner club group. I love seeing what Rachel comes up with each month for our themed tablescapes.
Today she is sharing a beautiful New Year’s tablescape plus some great recipes, and fun things to do for a New Year’s Eve party at home.

My sweet friend Robyn at Robyn’s French Nest is always full of inspiration! One of the first things that attracted me to Robyn’s Instagram account was her amazing tablescapes.
She is incredibly talented at putting together beautiful and affordable tables.
Her New Year’s centerpiece is a perfect example. Take a look at this fun centerpiece she created.
I’m blessed to have Shannon at My Little White Barn as a real life friend. This girl decorates, gardens and bakes and always has a creative diy project going on.
She is sharing a creative centerpiece to help you “ring” in the new year!

Have you ever thought about leaving your tree up for a while after Christmas and decorating if for another season??
Last year, I did just that!
I used my vintage clock faces to decorate my Christmas tree. I left the tree topper on it and added a large clock face. Then tucked all of the clock faces into the tree.
The vintage book page garland stayed on the tree, as well, and I added a black and white striped ribbon.
If you want to try this look, and you don’t have a clock collection, you can always use free printables of clock faces.
Another fun idea for a New Year’s tree would be a top hat for the topper, silver tinsel garland and New Year’s decorations hung on the tree. Party blowers, small disco balls and all kinds of New Year’s decorations are easily accessible this time of year at dollar and discount stores.
