5 Ways To Style a Table Runner
Hello and welcome to the Linen Skinny Table Runner Blog Hop hosted by Diane from South House Designs! If you’re visiting from Anne & AnneMarie of Simply2Moms, or if you just happened to stop by, I’m so glad you’re here.
I recently received this beautiful linen table runner from South House Designs. I love it, and wanted to share 5 ways to style a table runner using this beautiful piece.
They have a relaxed and casual look that works beautifully in my home. These runners would be so perfect with most any style decor including cottage, farmhouse, boho, traditional, etc.
They have an “aged edging” and are washable which is a great! In fact, the more you wash them, the more character it adds!
styling #1
I had a local monogrammer add a letter “H” to my runner, and I used it over the back of my slipcovered barstool in the kitchen. I love the added layer of texture and the uniqueness it adds to my chair.
styling #2
I also tried the piece draped across my island. We sit here often to have a meal and I love the look it adds to this space. I don’t typically think to use a runner or even placemats, but I love how this looks here. No need to worry about spills, since it is washable.
styling #3
This runner made the perfect addition to my coffee table. The coffee table in my sitting area is very narrow and hard to style sometimes. The runner, since it is narrow, was the perfect solution to add another layer and some texture.
styling #4
My favorite chair to sit in and read, is covered in a painter’s drop cloth. I love the chair because it is oversized, and comfy, but it is a little plain. I tried draping the linen table runner over the back, and I love the texture and unexpected look of it!
styling #5
And last, but not least, the most obvious way to use a table runner. This is my outdoor patio table, and I love the look of this runner styled with my reclaimed wood candle holder! It added just the perfect finishing touch to this tablescape!
