Well friends, I have to say I’m so sorry I have been MIA for a while with posting a Saturday Morning Gather.
The last couple of months have flown by and have been filled with working on a large design job, working on taxes, hosting Easter, and dealing with some illness with family and friends.
I have truly missed sharing with you and hope to be back on track soon
If you are new here, welcome.
Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share what is going on at Vintage Home and also share inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.
If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.
Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.
on the blog…
Since my last Saturday Morning Gather post, I had my monthly dinner club tablescape and recipe share.
This month was a Chinese theme and I created this fun tablescape for the occasion.
Read all about it to see what my inspiration was for this table setting.

My recipe to go along with our theme was Easy Asian Spring Rolls with Peanut Hoisin Dipping Sauce.
in other random news…
Are you planning to watch the eclipse on Monday??
They rumor is that our little town will be saturated with people coming into town to watch the eclipse.
Apparently, we are in the path to see a total solar eclipse, where some states will only see a partial eclipse.
Our Airbnb was booked a while ago, for that night, by someone coming here from Washington to see the eclipse.
My understanding is that every hotel and Airbnb within a good many miles, are booked and have rented for 3-4x the normal rate.
Just for the record, we did not raise the rates on our Airbnb for the event.
Luckily, our neighborhood is hosting an eclipse watching party at the neighborhood clubhouse and providing glasses, so I am hoping not to have to leave the neighborhood since traffic in town may be crazy.
Also, I have been working on changing some things up in my home. I am ready for a refresh in some areas, and have been itching to make some changes.
One thing I like to do for Spring and Summer decor is change out my throw pillows and pull out my great grandmothers blue transferware dishes to display in my china cabinet.
Even though I typically only use neutral colors in my decor, there’s just something classic and fresh about blue and white.
Hopefully, I can share some of those very soon.
I finally have all of my Spring decor done inside the house, and have been working on flower beds and putting in our garden.
I can’t wait for the flowers to start blooming and to have fresh veggies from the garden.
and some other amazing things I found….
aren’t these the cutest DIY plant labels??
and this beautiful blue and white berry themed tablescape…
the cutest fabric food covers! I want to make some of these…
this brilliant idea for spice drawer organization…
I am loving this brown buffalo check tablecloth I got recently and I am planning to order it in the green color.
And these green block print napkins were perfect for my Easter table and will be great with summer tablescapes as well.
They also come in other colors.
I hope you found some inspiration at our Saturday Morning Gather today!

You are sooo lucky to be in the path of totality! If you’ve never experienced it before, I think you’ll be amazed.
We had reservations for the whole family in Dallas, but ended up canceling recently due to Ryan moving, Katie’s pregnancy and our crazy travel schedule. Anyway, experiencing a total eclipse is spectacular!
Thanks Diane! It was really cool and I hate you had to cancel your trip.
Sounds like you are going to have a great view of the eclipse! How exciting! Love the blue pillows! Such a fresh look 😊
Thank you friend! Have a lovely weekend!
