Happy New Year friends!

I hope 2024 is off to a great start for you.

I’ve enjoyed taking the first week of the new year a bit slower than my normal weeks.

It’s been nice to go through and edit my Christmas decor, and make some simple changes to my home for winter decor.

I have some ideas for that coming up next week, I will be sharing with you.

If you are new here, welcome.

Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share what is going on at Vintage Home and also share inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.

If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.

Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

on the blog….

Since I took the week off to slow down and work on things in my home, there wasn’t much going on, on the blog.

However, I wanted to reshare a winter tablescape I created a couple of years ago, in case you are hosting anything during the winter months and need inspiration.

in other random news…

We have a winter blast coming to Texas tomorrow and will be hanging out for a few days and there is a possibility of snow on Monday

We aren’t used to single digit temps here and it often causes lots of problems like burst plumbing pipes.

Since we have an Airbnb house as well as our own home, it’s always a little stressful hoping that we don’t have a catastrophe at either house.

The upside to the cold weather is an excuse to stay home and work on a few projects and some organizing.

My pantry and spice cabinet need a major refresh!

Do you use the frigid temps and snow days to nest and organize?

and some other amazing things I found….

Since we will be having super cold weather, I think I’m going to try this homemade chili recipe...

and I want to try this Earl Grey Hot Cocoa recipe too…

these hand made fire place starters are so cute and I’m sure they smell amazing…

these great closet organizing ideas.. #13 is my fave and I am definitely going to try this…

I bought these beautiful canisters a few months ago for my flour and sugar. I had seen some similar that I really wanted but didn’t like the price tag. These are about 1/4 of the price.
I leave them out on my kitchen counter and love how they look. Since my pantry needs a refresh I’m going to order more.

And I’ve been doing a refresh in my guest bedroom and I love this cozy linen bedding. It is so reasonably priced and comes in 2 styles and lots of colors.
