Currently, we are melting in Texas!!

It has been one of the hottest summers I can remember.

We have had triple digits temps and no rain for so long, and just finally got below triple digits this week.

I am SO ready for fall. Cooler weather, sweaters, and all things pumpkin!

If you are new here, welcome.

Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share what is going on at Vintage Home and also share inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.

If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.

Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

on the blog….

My dinner club theme this month was a Southern Potluck Dinner Party.

If you missed my tablescape, you can see that here.

I was responsible for the dessert this month, and I made this super easy Coconut Cream Pie you can make in the microwave.

There are several variations of the recipe, if coconut isn’t your thing.

How about a chocolate, strawberry or banana cream pie?

in other random news…

I was in California again last week, but this time it was for vacation and a wedding for a close friends son.

We were in Paso Robles for the wedding and to spend a few days then we drove to Carmel for a couple of days.

Carmel is one of my favorite places, so I was excited to be back for a few days and loved the temps in the 60’s.

The California weather was such a wonderful reprieve from the Texas heat.

and some other amazing things I found….

I’ve shared a cozy outfit I bought several months ago that is the short sleeve version of this. It is so comfortable so I ordered the long sleeve one.

I am loving it too, and it has been a great travel outfit.
