I can’t believe it’s already July!! Where in the world did June go??
I hate to rush the time away, but it is already SO hot in Texas, I’m ready for fall!
If you are new here, welcome.
Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share what is going on at Vintage Home and also share inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.
If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.
Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.
In honor of the upcoming July 4th holiday, I’m sharing red, white, blue and patriotic inspiration today.
on the blog….
On the blog this week, I shared this easy tutorial for making a fresh herb wreath.
It’s so simple to make and only takes a few supplies.
They smell amazing and add such a wonderful touch to your summer decor and also would make a great gift for someone.
Since July 4th is right around the corner, you might like this patriotic tablescape idea...
Or this patriotic dessert pizza….
in other random news…
As I mentioned earlier, it is terribly hot in Texas right now, and unfortunately that will be our story for several more months.
I love being outside and this heat makes that almost impossible.
The temps have been in the high 90’s and heat index has been 105 to 115!!
It’s horrible and we’re all melting.
I feel like the heat makes everyone irritable and cranky, so I’m ready for pumpkin season.
On a happier note, I was honored to have Farmhouse Living video my front porch and back patio area for the “Outdoor Spaces” series.
You can view the full video tour here.
and some other amazing things I found….
this cute flag banner…..
fun and festive July 4th decor using thrifted finds…..
this adorable patriotic inspired grain sack table runner DIY…
this refreshing summer red, white and blue sangria…
these super cute individual size berry trifle desserts for July 4th….
these beautiful pillows I just got for my living room sofa for summer….
and I paired them with these cute check pillows that are only $13….
and this has nothing to do with red, white and blue, but I just got this cozy outfit and love it!!!
I hope you found some inspiration at our Saturday Morning Gather today!

Happy Fourth of July, my friend. Hugs to you.
Thank you Renae! I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday!
Beautiful front porch . I luv everything you use in your decorating .
Oh, thanks so much for the kind words, and I’m so glad you enjoy it and find inspiration here.
Your porch looks amazing, Michele. Happy Fourth!
Thank you Wendy! I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday!
I love your choices for linens and clothing but I need choices that are under $25-$50. I am sure that others have these same financial problems but will not let you know about these prices are too high. Thanks for helping out folks like me get these somewhat items at a lower price.
Thanks so much for responding. I’m not sure which items you are referring to, and I’m so sorry if they weren’t budget friendly. I typically purchase and also share very reasonable priced clothing.
I am a thrifter and bargain shopper at heart.
Thanks so much for mentioning it and I will be more careful of that in the future.
Happy 4th of July week. Thanks for sharing my Patriotic thrift store ideas.
Of course Rachel! You always have such great ideas and cute decor to share.
Speak to my heart with the heat, Michele! It has been much the same in Florida too. Just about every day now we’re getting text messages from the county saying we’re under a heat advisory. If this is July, I don’t even want to think about August! Thankfully, there are beautiful blogs like yours to enjoy and plenty of organization projects to complete. Thank you so much for sharing my table runner. I really appreciate it! Hope your holiday week has been a fun one. Big hugs and thank yous, CoCo
Yes, I know what you mean about surviving the heat this summer since it’s only July!!
And I loved your table runner and was happy to share it.
PS: Just finished your home and porch tour video and it was so beautiful. I’ll share this link on Friday!
Oh, thanks so much CoCo! I really appreciate that and your kind words!
