gath•er: to come together or bring together into one group, collection or place

If you are new here, welcome.

Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share things going on at Vintage Home, and also inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.

If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you!! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.

Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

on the blog

I’ve been traveling the past 2 weeks, and took a much needed break from the blog.

It’s been good to get away, refresh, restore and come back with lots of inspiration and motivated to work on some new projects.

Stay tuned for a new tablescape and menu from my dinner club group next week.

In case you missed last month’s tablescape……..

in other random news

As I mentioned, I’ve been traveling for the past 2 weeks.

We visited London for 4 days, and Ireland for 9 days.

We have a friend living in London temporarily, so we had the opportunity to stay with him in his flat in the city.

He was a wonderful host and tour guide. We were able to see so much of London in those few days and had some amazing dinners because of his knowledge of the city.

This was my first trip to London, and I would love to go back again sometime.

The second part of our trip, which was Ireland, was a bucket list golf trip for my husband’s 60th birthday.

We joined 7 other couples for a wonderful time in the most beautiful country I’ve ever visited.

The countryside, coastal views, flowers and golf courses were all breathtaking!

Another fun thing that happened right before my trip was a podcast interview from Lynn at Living Large in a Small House.

I was honored to be her guest on the podcast! If you would like to hear the interview, you can do that here.

and some other amazing things I found…..

beautiful summer coffee table styling ideas…..

this recipe for bread and butter pickles that sound so yummy….

so many great ideas for things you can make for Christmas now….

a beautiful cluster arrangement centerpiece of fresh flowers….

this delicious looking grilled corn and feta salad….

these packing cubes were a life saver for my trip. I am a horrible packer and they helped conserve space in my suitcase, so much!

and I love this blouse I ordered a few months ago, so much that I ordered it in a sleeveless version this morning…..

I hope you found some inspiration at our Saturday Morning Gather today!

blessings and have a wonderful weekend,
