Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share things going on at Vintage Home, and also inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.

Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

First of all, let me say how heavy my heart is with what’s going on in Ukraine and also the loss of 2 blogger friends this week.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these 2 ladies and all of those affected by the war in Ukraine.

My incredibly talented artist mom painted this watercolor of a sunflower and I thought it was the perfect photo for today’s post since the sunflower is the national flower for the Ukraine.

Last Saturday was my monthly dinner club group menu day on the blog, so we missed Saturday Morning Gather.

So, I will recap a few things from the past 2 weeks on the blog, in case you missed it.

Can you believe it is already March?? It seems like the Spring is approaching so quickly!

I can’t wait to get into the garden and start planting flower seeds for my cutting garden and starter plants for the vegetable and herb garden.

There is just something so gratifying and rewarding about eating food from your own garden and having flowers right in your yard to cut to bring inside for fresh bouquets.

I also love to gift fresh flower bouquets to friends and neighbors so I pick up jars and vases at thrift stores periodically to keep on hand for making arrangements.

Even if you think you are not a “gardener” and don’t have a “green thumb” there are so many flowers and herbs that are easy to grow.

You can even grow some in pots if you don’t have a lot of yard space.

If you have any interest, at all, I highly recommend you give it a try. Just start small with a few plants and see what I mean!!

this foldable tray table that I love!! I like to sit on my front or back porch whenever the weather is nice and work on my computer. This table is the perfect size for that, and I even take it sometimes when I travel and need a work table.

and how cute is this adorable bunny wall hook??? It comes in 3 finishes and is so cute for Spring!!
