I’ve been a bit MIA this week on the blog, because I am traveling and decided to take a bit of a social media break.

in other random news

As I mentioned, I’ve been traveling this week. My mom and I went on a mother/daughter trip to Carmel, California.

It is one of my very favorite places!

We had the most beautiful weather and stayed in the cutest Bed and Breakfast with a view of the ocean.

We slept with the windows open and could hear the ocean waves. Every morning we sat outside around the firepits with our coffee and had wine there in the evenings.

The weather was between 55-65 degrees, and we were able to sit outside at every restaurant, which was delightful.

We shopped, walked through art galleries, walked the beach, went to the local farmers market, and drove 17-mile drive and stopped at several of the beautiful and famous golf courses.

Our B&B was 2 blocks from town and 3 blocks from the beach, which was perfect.
