Ingredients

  • 1 turkey breast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  • Place turkey breast in crock pot.
  • Sprinkle turkey with salt and pepper and rub it in.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cranberry sauce, onion soup mix, and orange juice.
  • Pour this mixture over the turkey.
  • Cook on low for 6-7 hours. This may depend on your slow cooker. Mine cooked for 7 hours.
  • Take turkey breast out, and place on a serving dish. Cover with foil while you prepare the gravy.
  • Skim the fat off the liquid in the crock pot. Pour the remaining liquid into a saucepan.
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water.
  • Bring the sauce to a boil, then pour in the cornstarch mixture. Stir with a whisk until thickened. You may need to reduce the heat to prevent burning.
It should take 3-4 minutes to thicken.
  • Pour gravy over the turkey and serve.
